Micanopy, FL

Micanopy sits a short shady mile off Interstate 75 and oozes old Florida charm.  It was recently profiled in our favorite magazine, Garden & Gun (which ironically is about neither), and we deemed it worth a visit.  We found a small village filled with quaint stores and a couple of cafes and great examples of historic Florida architecture.

This is one of the buildings from an exciting project that Jackson Parish is currently envolved. The Florida Vernacular architecture reflects what we find historically in nearby Gotha, Windermere, Winter Garden.
